Project Overview
Goliath Upright Racking Repair is the developer of a genuinely groundbreaking product: a specialist repair solution for damaged upright racking in warehouses and distribution centres. Their existing website, while visually reasonable, was failing on every metric that matters — it attracted no organic traffic, generated no enquiries, and failed to communicate the product's value to the market.
Digital Sizzle was brought in to completely reimagine the website — its platform, strategy, content, user journey, and design — and to begin building the wider content ecosystem the product needs to grow.
The Challenge
The existing website faced a fundamental strategic problem: Goliath's product is genuinely new to the market. Nobody had built a dedicated upright racking repair solution like this before, which meant potential customers were not searching for it by name. They were searching for adjacent problems — damaged racking, warehouse safety, racking replacement costs — without knowing that Goliath's solution existed.
At the same time, the previous site suffered from:
- Content that was poorly considered and failed to educate the market about the product and its benefits.
- A user journey that was confusing, with no clear path from problem to solution.
- No SEO strategy — the site was invisible to search engines for any meaningful queries.
- An overwhelming information architecture that caused visitors to disengage rather than enquire.
- Zero enquiries being generated despite the potential market size.
The core challenge: how do you rank for a product that nobody knows to search for — and how do you educate a market while converting it at the same time?
How We Got There
Deep Product Understanding
Before a single word of content or line of code was written, we invested time in truly understanding Goliath's product — its mechanics, its applications, the problems it solves, and its competitive advantages over alternatives such as full racking replacement. This product knowledge was the foundation of everything that followed.
We identified who the buyers are, what they care about (safety, cost, downtime, compliance), and what language they use when they encounter damaged racking. This informed every content, UX, and SEO decision.
Bespoke WordPress Build with Custom CMS
Our UX designers and developers collaborated to build a bespoke WordPress website tailored precisely to Goliath's needs — not an off-the-shelf theme, but a fully custom build designed from the ground up around the product, its audience, and its future ambitions.
Central to the build is a custom content management system that gives Goliath full control over their website without needing technical knowledge. Pages, content blocks, and media can all be updated independently by the client whenever they need to — whether that is adding new case studies, updating product information, or publishing fresh content to support SEO. It is their website, and they have the tools to own it.
At the same time, Digital Sizzle remains on hand to provide support whenever Goliath needs it — whether it is a technical question, a larger content update, or strategic guidance, the client knows they have a team behind them, not just a website handed over and forgotten.
Built for the Future
This project was never just about where Goliath is today. We built the site's templates and architecture with the longer term firmly in mind. A key part of Goliath's growth strategy is the development of a substantial video library — professionally produced videos that demonstrate the product in action, educate the market, and build the kind of visual authority that a first-to-market product needs.
Digital Sizzle is actively supporting this ambition. Our videography team, working alongside professional actors, is producing product demonstration content for Goliath that will integrate seamlessly into the website as the video library grows. The CMS and page templates have been built to accommodate this expanding content library without requiring a redesign — the site will simply grow with the business.
Keyword Research & SEO Strategy
Because the Goliath product is unique, we built the keyword and SEO strategy around the problem rather than the solution. Potential customers search for the damage they have, not the repair method they don’t yet know exists. Our research identified:
- Problem-led keywords — terms relating to damaged upright racking, warehouse safety, racking inspection, and compliance requirements.
- Cost-led keywords — searches around racking replacement costs, repair vs. replace decisions, and warehouse downtime reduction.
- Safety and compliance keywords — terms related to SEMA guidelines, racking inspection obligations, and insurance requirements.
- Competitor and adjacent keywords — searches that potential customers are conducting when looking at alternative solutions.
AEO and AIO Optimisation
Search is evolving rapidly. We built the Goliath content strategy to perform not just in traditional SEO but also in:
- AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) — structuring content to be selected as direct answers by search engines such as Google, ensuring Goliath appears prominently in featured snippets and knowledge panels where buyers are looking for answers to their racking safety questions.
- AIO (AI Overview Optimisation) — crafting content to be cited in AI-generated search summaries, which are increasingly the first response users see. As an emerging and innovative product, Goliath is well positioned to own these spaces if the content is correctly structured — and we built it to do exactly that.
This three-pronged approach — SEO, AEO, and AIO — ensures Goliath is visible across the full spectrum of how buyers now discover solutions.
User Journey Redesign
The previous user journey put visitors in front of too much information too quickly, leading to confusion and drop-off. Our UX designers completely rearchitected the journey using a problem-first approach:
- Landing visitors on content that speaks directly to the problem they have — damaged racking and the associated safety and cost implications.
- Introducing the Goliath solution as the logical answer, with clear explanation of how it works and why it is superior to replacement.
- Building in progressive disclosure — revealing information in layers so visitors are never overwhelmed, moving naturally from awareness to understanding to enquiry.
- Strategic placement of calls to action at the moments of highest intent, ensuring visitors who are ready to act have a clear and frictionless path to making contact.
Content Architecture & Copywriting
Every page was planned and written with both the human reader and search engines in mind. Content was structured to educate, build confidence, and drive action — telling the Goliath story in a way that makes the product's value unmistakably clear, even to a visitor who had never heard of racking repair solutions before.
The Result
A website that works as hard as the product it represents. Goliath now has a bespoke digital platform they can manage and grow with confidence — underpinned by a content and SEO strategy designed to generate awareness, educate the market, and convert informed visitors into genuine enquiries. The growing video library will further strengthen the site's authority and engagement as it develops.
This is an ongoing and evolving partnership. As the video content grows, as the product gains market recognition, and as the SEO strategy matures, the website will grow with it — exactly as it was built to do.

FAQs
What technology platform powers the Goliath Upright Racking Repair website?
The website is a bespoke WordPress build with a custom content management system, giving Goliath full independent control over pages, content blocks, and media without needing technical knowledge.
How do you do SEO for a genuinely new-to-market product?
We build the keyword strategy around the problem the customer already has — damaged racking, warehouse safety, replacement costs — rather than the product name itself, since buyers don’t yet know a dedicated repair solution exists.
What is AEO and AIO, and why does it matter for Goliath?
AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) structures content to be selected as direct answers in featured snippets, while AIO (AI Overview Optimisation) crafts content to be cited in AI-generated search summaries — both help a first-to-market product get discovered.
Is the Goliath website an ongoing project?
Yes. Digital Sizzle continues to support Goliath with an expanding videography library and ongoing content, SEO, and technical support as the product gains market recognition.
For a first-to-market product, being found is everything. Goliath's new website is engineered to make that happen — and built to keep growing.
